Baby toys are a breeding ground for germs since they are usually in babies' mouths or on the floor. This home remedy shows how to disinfect toys easily with just a few household ingredients. Your baby's toys will be sanitized and clean so you can rest easy when they put them right back in their mouths.

3/4 cup distilled water

3/4 cup distilled white vinegar

20 drops lemon essential oil

20 drops tea tree essential oil

Clean spray bottle
Step 1: Add water and vinegar to the spray bottle.
Add 2/3 cup of distilled water and 3/4 cup of distilled vinegar.
Step 2: Add the essential oils to the spray bottle.
Add 20 drops each of lemon and tea tree essential oils. Lemon and tea tree essential oils contain natural disinfectant without harmful chemicals. Replace the lid and shake well.
Step 3: Spray the baby toys liberally with the mixture.
There is no need to rinse off the toys, but you may wipe them after a few minutes, if you like.
Step 4: Dry the baby toys.
Use either a clean cloth to dry the toys or let them air dry on a dish rack.
