It’s very basic, making it perfect for kids in preschool and kindergarten who are simultaneously learning the letters of the alphabet and the sounds they make.

If you’re looking for beginner typing games for kids, this is another great one to start with. Players choose which part of the keyboard they want to focus on (top row, bottom row, number pad, etc.), choose their level of difficulty, and then they have to press the key that corresponds to the letter/number that appears on the screen. Each time they press the correct letter/number, a sword slashes a piece of food on the screen as motivation to keep going!

This is one of my favorite typing games for kids as I find it highly satisfying to watch the balloons pop for each letter entered correctly, lol. Your kids can choose to practice all letters/numbers, or specific rows of the keyboard at varying levels of difficulty. Car Rider | Kids Type
If your child likes to race cars, this will be one of his or her favorite typing games for kids! There are 3 different levels, allowing kids to practice typing words that are 3-5 letters in length. They can move their car from left to right by typing the letters on the corresponding side of their car, and the faster they type, the quicker their car moves. If you’re looking for more than just typing games for kids, this is a great series of lessons to consider. It’s free, you don’t need to create an account, and it’s engaging, interactive, and fun. Kids learn proper hand posture, and they must practice each lesson until they earn 5 stars before progressing to the next level. They also offer an option for younger kids called Jungle Junior where children learn about the alphabet, sight words, word families, and simple sentences.
